Large portions, great coffee, fresh food, and great service. Truly everything you want from a breakfast spot. Best of all, relatively cheap!
Never been disappointed with anything at this place. The food is always delicious with huge portions, luv luv luv their hash browns not shredded, not home fries but like sliced boiled potatoes fried perfectly
My son told us to try this place. I'm glad we did, food was very good, portions are very large and service and waitress was exceptionally good. We'll be back to try other things, menu has a lot of choices even vegetarian dishes.
Good value. Loved the family friendly atmosphere had the smothered breakfast burrito. The chili was really tasty
This came as a highly recommended place by a local and as out of towner's we gave it a shot. We were immediately greeted and seated upon entry. Staff was so extremely friendly right off the bat. We ordered the breakfast burrito supreme and chicken fried steak and eggs. Man oh man was this food delicious. The green chili on the burrito was bomb! Bursting with flavor and a wonderful amount of spice. Nicely filled with plenty of meat and extremely filling. I couldn't finish the entire burrito but gave it a good shot. The chicken fried steak was nicely seasoned, eggs wonderfully cooked and the gravy tasted amazing. So glad we stopped in for this meal. Next time we are in Denver, we know what's for breakfast!
The employees here incredibly nice and super friendly you can tell they work as a team, and I have to say the portions were very generous and very delicious overall. A bit hidden but that's the best part about being a gem. I definitely recommend it. However, the place is small so there might be a bit of a wait!
Thank you Christina our server she was amazing and very helpful selecting a delicious breakfast. This place deserves the best reviews not just for the great food and very generous too but the outstanding service the give you.
This cozy diner was great. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food came out fresh and hot. The prices were reasonable and their menu selection made me want to come back and try the rest of their food. Fantastic job folks.
If you're in the area, a great place to stop by for breakfast/brunch! They're very busy, but also very efficient. You won't expect to wait too long to get seated even when it's crowded. This place has soooo many options to choose from, so I'm sure the pickiest eaters can find something on the menu that they'll want to eat. I chose the healthy route and ordered a healthy omelette. I was pleased! However, if I were to come back I'd definitely order their French toast
My family has been coming to Mr. Egg for quite some time now, so I feel it's time to leave a proper review. Mr. Egg is a locally owned and operated restaurant in the old Thornton/Denver area and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've personally only have eaten breakfast here, which is always amazing. Nothing flashy-nothing fancy, just great breakfast! I have tried quite a few of the breakfast options which are all equally great, but my go-to is the breakfast platter with French toast. On occasion I'll get a Chile Relleno (smothered in Chile verde of course) on the side to offset the sweet syrup with with some spicy flavor! The service is always great as all of the waitstaff that I've encountered are friendly. The food is always cooked to order and comes out fast and piping hot. The ambiance is that of any local diner, so no frills, just simple dining. This place tends to get busy no matter what day of the week it is, so be prepared to wait for a table. You'll be glad you waited though. Two thumbs and two toes up for Mr. Egg! Happy eating, my foodies!
